S.C. Johnson, the makers of Ziploc, issued a warning six years ago that it’s not safe to use their bags this way. Google it. The boiling point of water ins 212 degrees, and these bags soften at 195. Who knows what kind of health issues arise from ingesting plastic bag molecules. Might make BPA look like nothing.
